July Sketchy Thursday at Scraptastic

In case I forgot to explain this, the last Thursday of the month is Sketchy Thursday at Scraptastic's Blog and I  create a Sketch Savvy Sketch for the challenge. Well today I have a sketch that I think most people will enjoy because its easy to adapt to different photo size and embellishments. For my example I have used the Scraptastic Club July Rock Lobster Kit and Add on kit, along with the Rock Lobster Stamp set. You have to see these fun summer thing - CLICK HERE. I intended to do the 4x4" photos for my layout but that just wasn't going to happen with the cool reflection I have in my photo. I just love the 2 tags in the lower right, of course they can be any shape or embellishment, but it was fun to actually used two tags there.

 

Now I have to share the image of the Rock Lobster Stamp Set because this whale is tooooo cute and there are alot of good stamps in this set. I stamped him on patterned paper and cut him out. I may be putting whales on lots of pages for awhile. LOL! I also stamped with the large anchor and heat embossing powder. Have you ever mixed embossing powders to make a color that will match your page? Give it a go because I had a blue and a lime green but no turquoise color so I mixed them and it worked perfectly.
