something borrowed and blue

I am working on some layouts for my sisters book, mostly random fun moments from her wedding week. These photos are at the hair salon before the ceremony when we realized she needed something borrowed and blue. I had this blue rhinestone hair pin in my purse and it was perfect. I used the Dear Lizzy "5th and Frolic" collection by American Crafts. I just love the little typewriter in the lower corner that says "remember this". I stitched some sequins and added rhinestones to for sparkle.

How in the world do you stitch over sequins? That's amazing. And even more amazing is that you happened to have a blue rhinestone hair pin in your purse! A lovely layout and I need that cream burlap flower. I do.

This is so soft and pretty. I too love the addition of the gems.
