Cork Stack fun!

Have you seen the NEW 6x6" adhesive Cork Stack by DCWV? I played with it a little bit today and you are going to be seeing me using more cork for certain. LOL! There are thin cork sheets with an adhesive and it can be cut with the die cutting machines like the Sizzix Big Kick and its dies and that is very cool but even better, you can use punches with it as long as you are sensible and don't try to use an ornate punch. How fun are these!?

And of course you could use acrylic paints to paint them but guess what? You can mist them! I found that they take the more opaque types of mists better. Just look how cute these little red cork hearts are.  CLICK HERE for a couple of Valentines where I use these cork hearts

This looks really interesting. Lifestyle Crafts (used to be Quickutz) has had some adhesive cork for years, in two different styles, but it doesn't work with punches, just dies. The adhesive gums everything up. So, the fact that you can punch this cork really intrigues me! Gonna check my JoAnns for this stack for sure. It would be great for Frontierland pages.

Very cool that its thin enough to PUNCH!! That alone is worth picking some up. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks!

Wow...love all the different ways you can use this stuff! I don't have a Sizzix, but I can certainly punch some shapes! I'm glad the misting works on the cork too. Very cool!

Love that it punches and the sprays make it perfect to match it to any project.

I'll have to look out for this. Love that it has an adhesive backing already and I never thought about misting. I also like the impression left after removing the misted heart.
