And now for my layout. I used Echo Park's "For the Record 2: Documented" collection to go with this photo that I love of Cinderella's Castle at Disney World. The blues, greens, and yellows are perfect and the doilies cut from the patterned paper were just the right look for my photo. I used a chipboard word along with some letter stickers to create the title because I like the different fonts together. The background is a nice Ultra White Felt textured cardstock from Carta Bella. I used this gorgeous wide May Arts ribbon for a big soft element at the bottom. Then I realized that the blue, green, and yellow of this collection needed something extra for a bit of a color pop. In my photo there are some pink flowers so I pulled a few pink flowers and elements from the "For the Record 2: Tailored" collection. I just love the big pink layered chipboard flower.

what goes UP...
I was totally inspired by a Tower of Terror layout that my friend Madeline did because of the title so I just borrowed it. Thanks Madeline! Then I had this color palette from disney scrappers for Tower of Terror and I found some Teresa Collins Vintage Finds papers and a great green pattern from Authentique. I haven't been brave enough to ride this one but my guys love it. I cant see waiting two hours to drop when I could be shopping, but next time I am determined to ride it. I really want photos inside :)

Disneyland
That's what the sign in the carriage says. Don't you just love the Haunted Mansion?! And its so beautiful at night too.If you haven't seen the NEW Chillingsworth Manor collection from Echo Park by Cassandra Cooper, you just have to take a look at the details HERE. There are gorgeous papers, but also just so many fun tags and stickers. I feel like I might go overboard a bit with them, but they are so fun to layer with a bit of foam tape for dimension. I made the little banner using some of the stickers and a piece of fuzzy fiber. Then I thought if I wrote the journaling part in black and grey it would look ghostly...um, not so much. LOL!!! I suppose I could have covered that little mistake up, huh? Sometimes things stay a bit less than perfect on my page, because I am fully aware that my handwriting is bad and so is my family - so it's cool.
This layout is for Sketch #98 from Sketch Savvy HERE

It's a Small World
I love the facade of It's a Small World in Disneyland - the white and gold panels sparkling and the animal topiaries. The weather wasn't great for my photos and it was actually closed for refurbishment but I got a couple of photos. I have always wanted to make the sign. I couldn't find the proper font so I just went with the font "pretty baby" because it's kind of fun.
This page was for a Disney Scrappers color challenge. I added darker shades of some of the colors. The papers are all Echo Park except for the purple pattern which is from DCWV. And of course I had to have gold accents so I stitched with metallic gold threads by Kreinik. I used some of my embossing folders with white cardstock to make white panels similiar to the ride facade.

Just Keep Swimming
I put together a couple of challenges for this layout. First I started with a Disney Scrappers stash challenge, where I had to use at least 3 different mfgs patterned papers and embellishments. Next I decided to add the current CSI: Case file #35 challenge which of course has a color challenge along with evidence (embellishment and techniques). There is also a journaling element at CSI and I did kind of do a page about summer, but I didn't follow the prompts all that well.
I used papers from DCWV, Echo Park, and My Minds Eye. The embellishments are from Echo Park, My Minds Eye, Prima, and TPC Studios. For my "evidence" pieces, I used a sun, nautical elements (sort of), wood, and a flower with beads. The circle element is just white cardstock that I cut out with my cricut. Those big glittered flourishes are cut from patterned paper in the Bouquet de Fleur stack by DCWV. And feeling a bit sparkly, I stitched with a shimmery thread by Kreinik.
