will and kate *CSI: Case File no.22

You will definitely have to check out CSI: Case File no.22 and the fantastic pages from the Design Team HERE. I loved the inspiration photo so much that I had to use a photo of my mug with hot tea and jammie dodgers to tell about the wedding. First I am a bit of an anglophile because many of my fave tv show are from the bbc (Doctor Who, Primeval, Top Gear, Keeping up Appearances...), I grew up with a best friend who lived half of the time in Texas and half of the time in Devon, and anyone who drinks black teas with cream and sugar and any kind of pastry is good in my book. I got up at a crazy hour when I was in high school to watch Diana and ... I hate to admit this... but my prom dress was styled after her dress in an almost white shade. Go ahead and laugh, I am used to it.

Anyway my brother got this mug for me and the night of the wedding, several of my good friends decided that we would stay up all night and have a virtual watching party. We made tea and other things and then all gathered online in a chat room and talked about the clothes, the hats, and the whole event. It was so much fun and I will always remember it.
Dont forget to watch the queen's Diamond Jubilee tomorrow morning June 3rd on BBCA at 8:30est / 7:30central :)

Brilliant! (said in my best English accent!) So many fun British embellishments - heart union jack, doily, the crowns. And I love your mug!

I stayed up too, but the only one up online with me was my cousin who is stationed with the USAF in Japan. She had a hat making party (which was hilarious!) and I had tea and a cookie in the middle of the night while I watched. It all finished just in time for me to go to work I do believe. And I stayed up for Diana's wedding and funeral too. Glad I'm not alone. My DH thinks I'm a nut!
