Magic of Disney Animation

This is my first attempt to turn a one page sketch into a two page sketch. I took Sketch #90 from Sketch Savvy  - Click HERE to see the sketch and how it was stretched. When you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios (MGM), you can take an animation tour and although it is no longer a working studio, its still a fun. The tour of the working animation studio and backlot tour were really great, I hope some of you guys got to see it before it was gone.

Anyway, you can also go to the Animation Academy and a Disney Artist will teach you to draw one of your favorite characters! It's a great souvenir of your trip. Three of us drew Winnie the Pooh on this trip and we have them on our wall now. On another trip we got to draw Stitch.

For this layout I used MME  papers, mostly from the Follow Your Heart collection. I also had some super old sketchy looking Pooh paper so I cut a couple of hexagons from that as well. Themey paper can overwhelm a page sometimes, but it can be just the perfect touch, when used in small amounts.

Oh I love how you included the 3 drawings, one from each of you! We saw some of the animation during our trip about 10 years ago. It was cool and I wish they hadn't moved it.

I really like these papers and the way you have stitched to look sketchy. How fun to be able to draw with an animation artist!

Another lovely layout, Susan. It's a great idea to take photos of those drawings for a layout. I love all hexagons
