a Sleepy Kitten *CSI:case file 16
The colors for this weeks CSI: Case File #16 challenge were so totally cute and the first thing I thought of was this little grey and pink mouse that Figaro has. It was his first toy and he really loved it so much that we got him a second one just in case. LOL! I took these photos when he was 6 weeks old - just look at his pink toes! He is giant now but I still love these photos. For my page I used some older K&Co Que Sera Sera paper in the darker pink with this beautiful Echo Park Be Mine Collection. I cut the title out of the background using my cricut and then I put the pink paper behind it. Then I knew it needed one more thing and I had this little toy mouse that I won't let Figaro have because it's too small and he will swallow it. I cut the back and took out the stuffing and catnip and then smashed it right onto my layout.
Now since I took Figaro's toy for scrapping, it reminded me of when I took my son's legos for a page. So, I have to ask - have you ever taken your kids toys for scrapbooking? maybe your daughters hair bow? LOL!!!

I adore this layout. The kitten is soooooo cute! Love the mouse on the page. This weeks CSI colors are fantastic. I need to get going on them again. Such fun!
This is so cute, Susan, like how you made the title using the Cricut, sad to see you are leaving CSI but glad you will be devoting more time over at Dinseyscrapping, you know I adore all your Disney layouts. Would you maybe do some sort of design reveal over there for each Disney challenge, that would be cool and give people lots of ideas. Take care, Doreen x

Oh My.....I just LOVE this. That tiny mouse is so stinkin' cute...this layout is amazing! Figaro is such a cute lil' kitty. (and I am not a huge cat lover either!) LOL

I am still totally enamored with this layout -- oh those little toes and the sewed mouse -- it's all so great!
