its just so groovy

Our area of Pop Century Resort was very groovy. It was the 60s area and full of flower power. This is my husband at Petals one evening - our poolside bar. They had the coolest drinks like Lava Lamp and Hula Hoop - yum! The food court area has a TV Dinners selection where your dinners are served in those divided metal trays, and you could get tie-dyed cheesecake. Its that theme stuff that I just love.

This is my page for the Color Room Palette #23. I loved the colors but didn't get to it until now. I used Die Cuts With a View Citrus along with several Echo Park papers. I misted the background with orange, blue, and green watercolor mists for a light tie-died look. The round orange drops are some little acrylic pieces that my friend, Jeanne, gave me. They are bigger than Dew Drops and I just put a drop of orange Stickles on the page and then put the piece on top. Very cool effect since I was thinking about lava lamps at the time.:) Thanks Jeanne!
