Tourist geeks

Are you a tourist geek - do you wear your camera all the time and stop for photos every 20 feet?
***Seriously, How touristy are you??? I want to know so leave me a note with your touristy moments.***
Well, I am and I think it's genetic because I definitely got it from my Dad. I literally have thousands of slides from him. I take my 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB flash cards with me and I take my mini laptop or EHD to download to at night. My brother and sister aren't quite as bad but they take their fair share of photos. I took this photo of them in LA when the 3 of us were there for our cousin's wedding and we did some serious sightseeing and souvenir shopping. And do you love that I had just those stickers so I didn't have to journal???

I used all papers and embellishments from the "Pack your Bags" from Little Yellow Bicycle. I just LOVE these papers but check out the awesomely cool little chipboard station wagon!!! If you click on the photo you can see it bigger and you should because it's my fave embellishment. :)
Of course the mist is Shimmers Spritz and the beady star stuff is cut from a beaded necklace that I got from the 4th of July Parade.

I love your page!! how fun! I admit freely that my BF and I are total tourist geeks! (and we love it!) We're both photo fanatics (which is great, because neither of us complain when one stops to take multiple pictures of something!) We both walk around constantly with our DSLR's around our necks (some of my friends don't quite understand why we BOTH need cameras! lol!) and we take tons of photos! So much that we decided after our last trip that we wouldn't tell people how many we took...it's a well-guarded secret! lol! My BF is also a techie geek, so when we go on a trip, we've got one mini-laptop, an internet tablet, two GPS's (one for the car, one for hiking/walking around)and 3 cameras (our 2 DSLR plus a little point and shoot). So yup, we're tourist geeks!!

I love this one, love the title and all your bits and pieces. Fantastic!!!

I'm a total tourist, you can see me coming a mile ahead! haha When traveling I always carry my DSLR camera plus a small point and shoot one, and let's not forget the digital video camera as well! And somehow I always manage to load them all up! haha

I am SUPER Touristy -- when my parents moved to Colorado they did it to become what they called "Perma-tourists" and I learned all my bad habits from them!

And I scrap each vacation in its own ENORMOUS album because I have to scrap EVERYTHING!

This page is SO CUTE! What great papers and those embellies are PERFECT!!! What great product!

I really like this paper! Great mixture of colors that will go with just about any travel pics.

I do take tons of photos and just like you, I download them to the computer each night. But I don't delete any of them until they are also on my home computer. I have so many tourist pictures that I will never get them all scrapped, never. Thank goodness for blogs!

But I love getting some of them scrapped one at a time when I find the perfect paper or the perfect embellishments.

I'm so a tourist and "shutterbug" as some poeple deem it.
Great layout.

You’re so right! The stickers tell the whole story. How great is that?? The colors of these papers are so versatile. They seem to work with nearly all travel photos. That chipboard station wagon sure is cute. Makes me think Griswolds and Wally World!

When I’m walking through a theme park with my camera around my neck and my full sized tripod, I tend to get some pretty crazy looks from people. But hey, I’m there to capture memories, not impress total strangers. So it works for me!

What great dimension and color on this layout, Susan! Fun, Fun, Fun use of products!!! We are tourist geeks in the sense that every moment is photo documented. LOL! With the hopes of course that they will one day make it onto a scrapbook layout.
