That's my evil laugh. I was so happy when
Basic Grey's Oliver collection came out because I knew I could finally scrap alot of the boys' High School events because I FINALLY have a good Maroon. My husband was near the scrapbook store one day so I asked him to go in and buy all the sheets they had left of the maroon solid and dotted papers from the
Oliver collection. LOL! Hey, I have like 8 years worth of photos from Marching Band and 2 graduations in Maroon.
Here is my first page and I am loving it! The stamped image is from the Notes set by Basic Grey. The scalloped cut frame and shadow are my own design.
Get them Free HERE at SketchSavvy. I also used a piece of quilted silk and a chipboard frame that I painted with Pewter Distressed Crackle Paint.

Congratulations Alex! Yay for good maroon! I love the scalloped frame you made and the fun mixture of mediums - paper, fabric, chipboard, etc. It adds so much interest!
