Tinsel, Icicles, and flocking

Remember tinsel and those thin icicles that you had to put on the tree a certain way or it looked like blobs of alluminum foil on the tree? Well, I loved those and mom hated them. NOW I am very aware of why she didn't like them. I think I stopped using them the very first year that I had my own tree, what a mess! And you certainly cant have them around cats or any dog that might eat them. Flocking is just a mess and requires a real tree, which I don't do, but it's very nostalgic to me.

ANYWAY - LOL! I love the sparkly silver tinsely look so I glitzed up this layout that has a very old photo of me, Princess, and an over flocked tree! I used papers from the Tinsel Town collection by CI, along with lots of glitter and tinsel stems. Then I flicked white paint onto the page to "flock" it.
